The Kamaole Sands Pool

I was going to describe the pool at Kamaole Sands as a modified Olympic sized pool; modified because of its shape. I thought better of it and asked the Resident Manager to describe the pool; his answer, "Refreshing". So, we'll leave it at that! The pool complex consists of: the pool, 2 Jaquzies (North and Sorth spas), a wading pool, an activities desk and a reading room (The Orchid Room). Ocassionally, there is a refreshment cart that serves cold drinks (non- alcoholic) and coffee. The pool area is open daily from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

The spas are heated to approximately 102 to 104 degrees F with the north spa slightly warmer than the south spa. In the evenings, they become quite the gathering place were guests "talk story" about their events and experiences of the day. A lot of new friends are made as they soak .

Activity World has a desk at the pool area where you can find out about and book activities during your stay. On your first morning at Kamaole Sands, you are invited to a complimentary continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. While enjoying your breakfast, George and/or one of his associates will discuss some of the more interesting adventures there are here in Maui.
